Net tickIT Technology
Net tickIT is written in Microsoft .NET with a SQL Server 2005/2008 database containing all the data required for the net tickIT application to run without permanent access to external data sources or systems. It includes a synchronisation module that automatically imports and exports data from retailers back office systems such as JDA or SAP and is able to work with a range of EPOS systems to automate the management of price changes for in-store display.
The main net tickIT application runs on an ASP.NET web site that can be hosted by IIS on Windows Server 2003, 2008 or 2008 R2 (32 or 64 bit). This environment provides web services suitable for both mobile and desktop browsers to access the central database through a scalable application layer and makes it easy to add more stores to the application.
As a certified Microsoft Gold partner, Pierhouse has a reputation for innovation and net tickIT was one of the early applications to fully support Windows 7. Over the years net tickIT has been continuously refined and it became fully web based more than two years ago. It is a tried and tested solution now at version 6.
